COVID19 Policy
If your booking is affected by COVID19, Bridget will transfer bookings where possible without any transfer fees. Your deposit will be held & transferred to another date. If Bridget cannot accommodate a new wedding date requested, a refund is provided within this circumstance. A cancellation request is however a result of the loss of the deposit in place.
Payment Options
Bridget accepts cash or bank transfer for in studio bookings and payments for bridal bookings. All prices are in Australian dollars. Should you require a receipt, this can be emailed to your desired email address.
Deposits & Payment Terms
A deposit for service’s asked by Bridget is non-refundable and non-transferrable to any other service, it is required to be paid upon receipt date.
Until Bridget receives deposits, client information form and agreed to electronic terms the date is still available for other bookings. Once deposit is paid, your booking is officially confirmed as secured.
All payments with Bridget are 100% non-refundable unless unforeseen circumstances have arisen and Bridget is unable to find a replacement for your booking date. You are unable to change your booking without notice, and you cannot cancel without notifying Bridget.
The final balance must be paid 3 days prior to the wedding day via invoice provided to you.
If payments have not been received before the wedding date this reserves Bridget the right to cancel booking and deemed satisfactory for Bridget to not show up on booking date.
Bridal Booking CancellationsIf you cancel your booking within 3 months prior to your date you will be liable for the balance of the remaining funds. Remaining payments of the balance due shall be made as set out in the payment schedule. In the event that client fails to remit payment as specified, Bridget shall have the right to immediately terminate this agreement with no further obligation to refund money (including the aforementioned retainer), to attend the scheduled event and complete services.
Bridget understands unforeseeable and unfortunate events, such as a passing of a loved loved one, may arise without notice. In this circumstance, your deposit is able to be held and transferred to another date provided the newly requested date is not previously booked. Understanding this may be a difficult time, Bridget will require as much notice as possible from the client and will attempt to accommodate to reschedule booking.
For all other circumstances where the client is unable to transfer to another date and reason for cancellation does not fall under unforeseeable circumstances, a cancellation fee of $350 will apply.
If there is a reduction in numbers within 3 months prior to the wedding date, payment is still required for the original amount of services booked at time of deposit. Please note all final numbers must be confirmed no later than 3 months prior to the wedding.
Bridget at her discretion, may agree to waive all or part of the cancellation fee if the circumstances of the cancellation in her opinion, are beyond your reasonable control.
Studio Cancellations24 Hours notice is required for in studio bookings, and if bookings are not canceled within this timeframe, the full service fee is payable.
Bridal Makeup trials
Makeup trials are $130 and are 90min bookings.
It is your responsibility to advise Bridget of any hypersensitivity to you or any other member of your party when booking. Bridget is not liable for any reactions that may be caused due to sensitivities.
If you change your mind after having a trial it is recommended to conduct another trial so that you are happy with the style before the wedding day; the same fee of $110 applies if another trial is requested.
Travel CostBridget will include a Travel fee based on duration it takes to reach destination (calculated based on time, there and back) cost is subject to rise if destination is international or interstate. You will be advised of the cost/accommodation of your travel expense on first contact of booking.
Price List
Bridget may update the price list without notice to you. However if you already have a booking, these prices will not affect you including weddings that have been pre-booked and deposits paid with the old price list.
Bridal Reception Touch ups
Reception touch ups are an additional service added to your booking of a total $500 for bridal parties only. This service applies to bookings within the illawarra only. If other parties want to be included within touch up service an additional fee of $50 per person will be included in the final invoice or be invoiced 2 days post wedding day.
Timing
Bridget allows 1 hour per person from scheduled arrival time to completion of the whole service.
Recommended allocated time is one hour per person per makeover. For bridal parties please note Bridget will work out a recommended schedule in order for consistency and flow of service for the client. Bridget is not liable to commit to any time requests, clients will be given a start and finish time.
An additional cost applies subject to circumstances where the reason for extra timing is on your request (if can be accommodated by Bridget) during the service of $120 each hour after completion of services and will be invoiced 2 days post wedding if extra timing occurs on day of wedding.
Parking
Parking costs incurred by Bridget are at the client’s expense; Bridget will notify you at the time of your mobile or bridal booking and will be invoiced for parking fees. If Bridget is unable to receive quotes on parking prior to booking day an invoice will be sent two days after the post booking date.
Sudden Illness/ Unforeseen Reasons
In the event that Bridget may cancel your booking due to serious illness or other unforeseen reasons, Bridget will attempt to find you an acceptable replacement however it is not guaranteed that Bridget will be able to find a replacement.
If a replacement cannot be found Bridget will refund any deposit paid in this circumstance where reasons are beyond her control and forced to cancel your booking.
Client and replacement are liable to confirm finer details of transfer of booking once Bridget exchanges contact details.
OH&S and Hygiene
Bridget is not under any circumstances responsible for allergic reactions to products and/or tools used. It is the responsibility of the client to disclose any allergies or hypersensitivity.
Clients may choose to use their own products under special circumstances however the rate for services remains the same.
Bridget does not accept false eyelashes from clients to use due to quality control. Please note that Bridget cannot work on clients who are contagiously ill or have contagious illnesses. Services will be refused at her discretion; it is the client’s responsibility to disclose any illness/s and hypersensitivities at initial contact.
******Makeup Artist's Responsibilities******
Bridget hereby agrees to perform Makeup services for client at the event specified in a professional manner. Bridget is not responsible for the impact on the final product or any interference caused by guests or other vendors at the event. Bridget will make every effort to guarantee requests by client.
Unsafe Conditions
If Bridget is exposed to (i) unsafe conditions, or (ii) objectionable or illegal acts at the event, Bridget reserves the right to take reasonable action to remedy such a situation, including but not limited to leaving the event. In such circumstances, Bridget shall not be obligated to refund any of the amounts paid by client because of such action.
Copyright
All photographs taken by Bridget at the Event, in whatever form, are copyright protected. Bridget will allow reproduction and publishing for personal use (e.g. social media, Facebook, blogs).
Bridal Event Changes
Bridget must be notified immediately of any changes in schedule or location, at least 3 months in advance of the scheduled event date.
If the client notifies Bridget by phone, a written (i.e. email) confirmation must be sent within 2 days of such notification.
If the date of the event changes and notice is not given the period specified above, then Bridget shall be entitled to the retainer amount as liquidated damages for having to reschedule the event.
The retainer amount will need to be repaid upon booking the new date, subject to Bridget availability.
Mobile Bookings
Mobile bookings are a minimum of 3 persons. If numbers were to reduce at any given time the client has an option to either be liable to complete full payment of 3 persons quoted at initial stages of booking or the mobile booking is to be moved to studio booking without additional cost applied.
Travel fee may apply and is an additional payment to the quoted amount. Please inform Bridget your location to confirm if this applies to your booking or not.
Terms
The term of this agreement shall commence upon the execution of this booking and shall terminate upon Bridget’s delivery of the final service unless terminated earlier.
This website is operated by Bridget. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Bridget. Bridget offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices as stated here.
